Then next to weeks i was unable to attend due to personal reasons but i have done these since returning
taking black and white pictures using 35 mm camera taken taken a iso of 400 f 5.6 -f.8 and shutter speed of 1/60th sec taken in the college attrium
we then developed the negatives using a developing tank .placing the film roll on a spool in a dark room
then placing developer into the tank for the correct time for the tank agitating the tank every 30 seconds
for each film in the tank 300ml of chemicals is needed
developer is mixed 1:1 with water so at 20 c so each film needs 150 ml of water and 150 ml of developer
pour the developer away after use as its a one use only
next place in the neat stop bath it doesnt require dilution so 300mlof neat stop bath is used
agitate continuosly for 1 minute pour stop bath back into bottleas this can be used again
next stage is the fixer
pour fixer into the tank its already mixed so doesnt need further dilution so again its 300ml
agitate occasionally for 5 minutes once done poor the fixer back in the bottle of fixer
next wash the film
place the whole tank under the running tap for 15 minutes
next place a couple of drops of wetting agent this gives the water so soap that helps the film to dry
next dry your negatives by hanging them into the dryer for 25 minutes and cut into six of each imagine and store in the negative sleeves
NEXT WE PRODUCED CONTACT SHEETS
Contact sheets are a picture produced by placing all the negatives on photographic paper in a contact holder and setting the time on the enlarger to 5 then 10 then 15 then 20 seconds to see what time is needed
its the developed in the same way as the photogram by place in developer for 1-2 minutes in wash for 30 seconds in fixer for 5 minutes the in flowing water for 10 minutes all this is done in a dark room
its the placed through a dryer
when i did this i felt that less time and aperture was needed
