The first week this week was looking at analog photo montage we where given 45 minutes to come up with a montage using pictures either found online or on our camera i choose to do one about transport through the ages which turned out OK well for a first practise anyway
now for the hard work of doing a photo montage using film photography pictures been doing alot of research and come up with a couple of idea will see how it turns out
Well after some thought i came up with the idea of a family tree photo montage so found alot of old pictures and added some new ones and it came out like this
The next part of the course is to produce a photomontage in digital format for this i decided to take a trip to Norwich and go shooting the history of norwich from this i produced a contact sheet and produced a draft format of the imagines i had taken .
We had a photoshop lesson where i picked up some idea for the finished project
i then spent time at home with photoshop to complete my project using old and new images and added some text and it turned out like this

After producing the montage above i spent alot of time finding research of digital montage
this was actually difficult to do as there is alot information on analog montage but even though photoshop is widely used these day not many people have written about it . I also wanted to document the history of the building i took pictures of and how i wanted to bring nature and transport into the finished item
